Game G. “Zeus” Bantsi has more than 19 years of experience in creative content production and live performance. Currently, Zeus is rap artist whose work has received numerous international awards. His first single, ‘Imagination,’ earned him critical recognition throughout Africa and received a nomination at 2008 Channel O music video awards. In addition to his musical career, Zeus is also the founder of DIY Entertainment, an organization focused on film and television production, as well as other creative entrepreneurship ventures. Zeus has also worked to build a popular lifestyle event for food enthusiasts and to lobby for the rights of creative workers in Botswana, most notably by serving on the non-executive board of directors at the Copyright Society of Botswana. Zeus holds a postgraduate Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture (Film and Television) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Marketing. He credits the Fellowship with encouraging him not to shy away from leadership roles in organizations and structures he seeks to change. Since completing the Fellowship, Zeus has stayed connected by hosting the Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit Talent Show and performing at the African Cultural Association of North America’s annual Summer festival in Philadelphia.
