Mpho Kate Sekwele

Mpho Sekwele has over 10 years of experience in the retail industry, specifically focusing on retail planning and buying functions, strategic business planning, and project management for Blue Chip retail companies. Currently, Mpho is completing her Executive MBA in Slovenia, with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Mpho holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand and an Advanced Diploma in Business Project Management from the University of Cape Town. Mpho is passionate about education and is a co-founding member of Bantu Hikers, an outreach hiking group connecting professionals with disadvantaged young people for mentorship. Mpho has been profiled as South Africa’s 200 Young Leaders 2016 in the Mail and Guardian publications. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mpho plans on continuing to develop young people and in creating entrepreneurial opportunities, where African products and services can thrive.
