Raoudath Bouraima is an agronomist. She mainly focuses on ecology, plants, and forest resources conservation, and the preservation of the environment. In her association, the Young Pioneers for Development, she works in environment preservation and travels to many rural areas of the country in order to work with farmers, assisting and sensitizing them to the necessity of changing behavior sand moving towards ecological and organic agriculture. Raoudath has her master’s degree in Natural Resources Management and is currently a PhD student. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to continue her work by organizing training and workshops to share new technologies, methods, and experiences in ecological and organic agriculture with other farmers’ associations. This will hopefully convince more people to move on this sustainable system of crop production, which is also of benefit future generations.
