Samira Garba Hamidou is a co-founder of the start-up SS Agro, which facilitates the transformation and marketing of cassava into gari and attieke to counter the food insecurity facing Niger and to reduce imports into the country. In addition, Samira works for a Danish organization that helps refugees; she is part of the team that ensures coordination throughout Niger. Samira holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Centre Africain d?Études Supérieures en Gestion. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Samira hopes to continue work that will positively affect her environment.
